John (Jan) Mud went peacefully at home, with family by his side, to Jesus on August 16, 2025.
John was born August 29th, 1939, in The Netherlands. As a young man, he proudly served as a Dutch Marine.
John met Nelly in 1963, married December 30th, 1965, and immigrated to Canada in 1966. Living in Sarnia since 2021.
John is survived by his wife Nelly, his son Barney (Fabienne) his daughter Ellen and his 5 grandchildren Rachel, JR, Elisa (Thomas), Colby and Hannah.

A heartfelt thanks to the Palliative care team for everything you do. The work you do is truly a gift, and we were truly blessed to have you part of this journey. We’re quite sure that John left a lasting impression with you and know that the wonderful care you provided in the last 3 weeks has been etched in our hearts.
