Peacefully passed in his sleep on Monday, October 13th. He was five days short of his 90th birthday. Beloved father and step-father of Dave, Lee (Donna), Todd (Kim), Tracey (Trevor) Mark, Bob (Penny), Bill (Jennifer). He is predeceased by his best friend and partner in life, Gayle Cornell. Grandpa and Poppa to Kristen (Gary), Ashley (Ryan), Ryan (Stephanie), Tyler (Amelia), Alyssa (Matt), James, Kayla (James), Emma (Justin), Rachele, Tye, Chase, and Hailley. Great-grandfather of 4. Rich loved nothing more than a card game with anyone who would play, camping and portaging with his family for over 30 years, and telling a great story. He and Gayle spent many happy summers at Loon Lake. Rich will always be remembered by cherished friends at Green Haven and surrounding areas as the life of the party. Rich is gone to meet again all the Loon Lake campers for a game of “65”. Cremation has taken place.
