Rosa Paulics, aged 87, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, at Bluewater Health in Sarnia. Born on August 14, 1938, in Hungary, Rosa lived a life shaped by love, faith, and resilience. She was known for her generous heart, witty sense of humour, and the care she showed to everyone around her. Rosa always put others first, and she will be remembered for her compassion, selflessness, unwavering love for her family, and her famous chicken paprikash. She was a beloved mother to Aranka, Violet, and James; a loving grandmother to Andrea, Ágoston, Courtney (Ryan), Sarah, and Aaron; and a treasured great-grandmother to Maxim. Rosa found her greatest joy in her family—especially during the Christmas holidays—and in helping others. Her love, guidance, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, ON, on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
