It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Margaret McLean Rae, 77 at Palliative Care in Sarnia on Sunday, March 30th, 2025.

Margaret was the much-loved wife and best friend to John for 55 years. Loving mum to Sharon McCarthy (Steve), Michelle Walker (late Eric), Sean Rae and predeceased by son Paul Rae. Much loved Nana to Liam & Cameron McCarthy and Grandma to Rachel & Logan Walker. Margaret will be fondly remembered by siblings John Rooney and Lynn Law (Martin).

Margaret’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr MacSweeney, the nurses, PSWs and staff on the Palliative Care floor of Bluewater Health for taking such good care of her. They would also like to thank her friends for their support during her illness. Their visits, especially the past months in Palliative Care, always brightened her day.

At Margaret’s request cremation has taken place.
