We are saddened to announce the passing of our lovely Mum on July 14, 2024. She is survived by her son Howard (Lynda) of Brights Grove, son Douglas (Arlene) of Haley Station, son Desmond (Christine) of Wales, England, daughter-in-law Debbie of Wyoming. Loving grandmother to Tara (Chris), Toren (Kate), Trevor, Justin (Fallon), Cole (Hanna), Jay (Sarah), Kevin, Gareth, Stephen (Sharon) and Abigail. Nine great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Eva Gilbert (1971) and Harold Gilbert (1973), son Paul (Todd) 2001, loving husband of 59 years John (2009). We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Afton Park Place for the care and compassion they gave to our Mum. Also thank you to all the friends that cared for Mum after Dad’s passing. Cremation has taken place. Mum and Dad’s last station stop will be at Resurrection Cemetery, London Line, Sarnia, Ontario. In lieu of flowers and Mum’s love of animals the family asks donations to be made the Sarnia & District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home, please).
