It is with great sadness that the family of Rudy L. Rogers "Jake" of Kettle and Stony Point announce his passing at Bluewater Health in Sarnia on May 1, 2024 at the age of 65 years.
Loving brother Carmen Rogers Sr. (Karen), Lucy Rogers, Rhonda Rogers, Anthony Rogers, Sid Shawnoo (Deb), Carla Rogers, Duane Rogers, Vania Bressette and Missy Rogers (Jerry). Predeceased by his parents Nellie (Henry) and Arthur Shawnoo and sisters Sheila George and Sherry Wolfe and brother Leon Rogers.
Rudy was a free spirit who was known to always have a smile on his face. Rudy went to university for Journalism and was a huge fan of poetry and writing. Rudy was also seen as a father figure to his numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Rudy will start on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at his residence, 9473 West Ipperwash Road in Kettle Point and continue to the start of his Funeral Service on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Kettle Point Cemetery with his oldest brother Carmen Rogers Sr. officiating.
