A happy life full of love and kindness ended quietly and peacefully for Jeffrey Neal Sharp. Surrounded by his family, they shared his passing on August 22, 2025, at age 45 at Bluewater Health.
Beloved son of Stephen and Sharon Sharp, brother of Jennifer and Rebecca Sharp. Jeffrey was an amazing young man, a remarkable son and an awesome brother.
Always smiling, always positive, with a slightly mischievous sense of humour, Jeffrey was a wonderful and fun addition to any gathering. He shared the best hugs, warm smiles always with a little chuckle.
After graduating from St. Pat’s, Jeff ventured out, working at Harvey’s, volunteering at St. Clair Child & Youth, Meals on Wheels, among other community charities. Since he loved to eat, he mastered cooking and self-published some cookbooks. A few years ago, he learned to paint and dabbled in whimsical art.
Jeffrey was a faithful sports fan, cheering on the Sarnia Sting and his buddies at Iron Works Gym. Win, lose or draw, he enjoyed watching the Toronto Blue Jays and the Edmonton Oilers.
He will be deeply missed by all his aunts, uncles, cousins and everyone whose heart he touched. Jeff’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at University Hospital, London and Bluewater Health, Sarnia.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of life will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line Sarnia, on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, with sharing of Jeff’s journey at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, consider a donation in Jeff’s memory to Sarnia & District Humane Society, The Kidney Foundation Sarnia Chapter, or Down Syndrome Association Sarnia-Lambton (cheques only at the funeral home please).
