Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospice of Sarnia-Lambton with her loving family by her side in her 80th year, Carol Smith (Miller) of Sarnia.
Beloved mother of Sue Laing (Pete) of Amherstburg, Ted Janssens (Ruthann) of Sarnia and Christine White (Aaron Pozzer) of Sarnia. Cherished grandmother of Leah, Sean, Ryan, Nash and Kaia. Loving sister of the late Bruce Miller, the late James Miller, Judy Biland (Joe), Duane Miller (Andrea), Joe Miller (Sally), Kathy Williams (Rick), Paul Miller (Sue) and Cheri Miller (Dan). Adored friend of Mary Ellen Merchant and Betty Mitchell.
Carol was a free spirit who loved talking to her family and friends, was an avid reader, dancer, and talented painter. Carol took pride in her work as a hairstylist, working for several decades serving the community within Sarnia.
Cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Carol can be made directly to St. Joseph's Hospice of Sarnia-Lambton where she received amazing care. The family would like to thank L.R.C.C. staff and doctors for saving Carol's life 3 different times, the Oncology Department from Lambton Health, and Dr. David Kim.
