Rita passed peacefully on Tuesday May 20, 2025, at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, at the age of 83. Rita was the beloved wife Verdun for 62 years. She was the loving mother of Dan (Ellen), Ron (Patricia) and Sherry Maitland (Mark). Cherished grandmother of Ashley, Katie, Jacey, Robbie, Ryan, and Adam, and great-grandmother of Maddy and Hudson. A special thank you to the doctors and staff at Bluewater Health and Marshall Gowland Manor for their compassionate care of Rita. Cremation has taken place. No services to be announced at this time.
