Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Vision Nursing Home, Norene Thompson passed away at the age of 100. Loving mother of Constance (Connie) Thompson-Sobot (Stephen Sobot). Dear sister of Dorothy Catt. Survived by several nieces. Predeceased by husband John Gordon Thompson and son Robert John Thompson; parents Joseph and Margaret Dalton, sister Norma Hughes, and brother William Dalton. A special thank you to the care givers on Superior floor at Vision Nursing Home. The care and kindness shown to Norene and her family is greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Norene’s wishes, no services will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to a charity of choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
