Surrounded by family at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater health, Margaret Ann Thomson passed peacefully on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at age 71. She leaves behind her loving husband of 45 years, John, son Bob (Amanda Wray), cherished granddaughter, Nora, sister-in-law, Mary (Vince Quinn) and niece Sara.
Predeceased by parents Alma and Oscar Holmes, brother Bill, stepfather Charles Whipp, and parents-in-law Jean and Randolph Thomson.
Marg was a strong woman who valued family, friendship, work, and community. She was a committed volunteer, caregiver, and donor. Her passion was reading, and leisure was curling. In recent years, she was Grammy T.

A celebration of Marg’s life will be held at the Petrolia Lions Hall, 451 Huggard St., on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation (ceehf.ca) or Canadian Cancer Society (Cancer.ca)
