Ann passed away surrounded by her loved ones at Bluewater Health – Palliative Care on May 19, 2025 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Robert. Loving mother of Rob, Carol-Ann, Jeff (Elaine), and Mark. Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Christie), Chad (Brittany), Josh, Emily, and Melissa. Great-grandmother of Lucy and Austin. Dear sister of John Konynenbelt. Sister-in-law of Diane and Ina, and sister-in-law of Anne and Pauline. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Bert and Anna, son Rob (1996), sister Herma, brothers Marvin and Harry, sisters-in-law Hennie (Jake) and Teena (Hank), and brothers-in-law Theo and Shorty. Ann was a 70 year member of First Christian Reformed Church. The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Bluewater Health. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., with family and friends being received one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Blackwell Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Sarnia Christian School (cheques only at the funeral home please).
