Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, Carol Marie Villeneuve passed away at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Jean-Marc Villeneuve. Loving mother of daughters Jessie-Anne Villeneuve (Dylan) and Nathalie Dallaire (Alexis) and son Denis Villeneuve (Abigail). Cherished by her grandchildren Nicholas, Mathieu, Xavier and Amélie. Treasured by her siblings Barbara, Robert (Judith), Jerry (Laura), Teena, Brenda and Maurice. Survived also by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends, who she loved dearly. Predeceased by her parents Donald and Annie Borody, brother Stephen Borody, brother-in-law Ronald Thibeault and father-in-law Origène Villeneuve.
Carol was an Elder of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church and an avid lover of the Toronto Blue Jays. A special thank you to Dr. Crombeen and Dr. Yoshida and their caring staff, her home nurses, especially Erica Flowers, and the PSW’s. A very special thank you to Dr. Michel Prefontaine who gifted her with an extra 7 years with family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Big Sisters or the Sarnia & District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
