Peacefully, at Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Monday, September 8, 2025, Gladys Vroom in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Vroom (2008). Loving Mem of Clare Vroom, Ellen Rounthwaithe (John), Robert Vroom, James Vroom, and Deborah McGill (James). Predeceased by sons John and Ronald Vroom. Dear Beppe to 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Survived by brother Melvin Klazinga. A heartfelt thanks for the compassionate care provided by the staff at Trillium Villa. A private graveside service will be held. Family and Friends are invited to an Open House reception to celebrate Gladys’ life at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Inn of the Good Shepherd or River City Vineyard (cheques only at the funeral home please).
