On Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, Meino Zylstra (nee Berg) went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, at the age of 95. Born in Hegebeintum, the Netherlands on November 23, 1928. Beloved wife of Lodewyk Zylstra for 45 years. Loving mother to Irene (Steve) Posthumus, Margaret (Bob) Zylstra, Marie (Joel) Krisko, Diane (Ed) Wassing, Rodger (Tcherina) Zylstra, and Jeff (Judy) Zylstra. Loving grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother to 66 children. Predeceased by her son, Jim Zylstra, granddaughter Melanie and son-in-law, Jack Langeveld.
The family will welcome visitors on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Wyoming Chapel of Needham-Jay Funeral Home 650 Broadway St. Wyoming. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. from the Wyoming Christian Reformed Church, 4524 Confederation Line, Wyoming. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to John Knox Christian School.
