The season is over for Northern Collegiate grad Shae-Lynn van Gassen and her soccer mates from Schoolcraft College.
The Livonia, Michigan-based school lost twice and was eliminated from the National Junior College Division 1 championships in Florida last week.
They were shutout by scores of 3-nil and 2-nil respectively.
Schoolcraft finished the season with a record of 16-3.
Although she didn’t score in the national tournament, van Gassen, an honours student, was among the collegiate leaders in goals, points, game-winning goals and shots on goal this season.
