The Mooretown Lady Flags Girls’ Hockey Association had a successful weekend at the 42nd Annual Walter Gretzky Tournament held in Brantford Feb.
The Mooretown Lady Flags Girls’ Hockey Association had a successful weekend at the 42nd Annual Walter Gretzky Tournament held in Brantford Feb. 23-25, with both the U11 ‘B’ and U13 ‘B’ teams winning their respective championships.
The U11 ‘B’ team won gold in a 2-1 final against the Sudbury Lady Wolves, Sunday, while the U13 ‘B’ team defended its 2023 title with a 1-0 win over the Waterloo ravens, to bring home the gold.
Both teams were also gold medal winners at the Sarnia Girls Silver Stick championships earlier this year.
