Sarnia Sting General Manager Dylan Seca announced the acquisition of a 6th-round pick in 2026 and a conditional 5th-round pick in 2027 from the Sudbury Wolves in exchange for forward Carter Kostuch.

Seca explained that the move is designed to support Kostuch, who has been working through a significant injury recently.

“We felt this move helps Kostuch get what could be a little more opportunity,” shared Seca. “When this opportunity came up that allows him to play when he’s ready, we felt it was prudent to support both him and his family.”

Seca added that the draft picks will help the team in coming years. The club thanked Carter for his time in Sarnia and wished him the best moving forward.
