Sarnia native Shawn Burr was honoured posthumously at a Sarnia Sting game March 13 when a banner was raised in his memory at the RBC Centre. Burr, who died last year after falling at his home, began his hockey career in Point Edward and was a long-standing member of the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings.
