Sarnia Firefighters defeated LEDHER Environmental by a score of 11-4. Dillon Timperley and Austin Russel shared the pitching duties with Russel striking out 5. Conner Phipps went 2 for 4 with a walk, scoring 3 runs while Kaven Rempel had two hits and a walk. Sam Wilhelm walked 3 times and had a solid double in the last frame. Tyler McNaught had a key single to centre field while Timperley had a hard-hit drive to right field, that he stretched into a trip around the bases.
Sarnia Police Association won against Camlachie by a score of 18 to 7. Avery Smiley, Jonathan Kameka and Kyle Robertson pitched the win. Matt Sabourin and Cameron Havers each had 3 singles while Jason Gruben and Chase Hale had a single each.
Later that day Sarnia Police Association defeated CUPE Local 4370 12 to 3. Nick Lapointe and Noah Best pitched for the win. Lapointe had 3 strike outs in his effort while Best had 5 strike outs. Best also had a great day at bat with 2 triples and 4 RBI’s while Mike Few had a single, double and 3 RBI’s. Shayak Ghosh led off the game with a Home Run while Kaeden Canie had a double and 2 stolen bases in the loss. Travis Conrad had 4 strike outs while Dakota Shouldice shared the loss.
Sarnia Police defeated the Sarnia Firefighters by a score of 16-6. The Firefighters managed only 3 hits and 5 walks over 4 innings, which just wasn’t enough against the solid Police team’s performance. James Dunn, Dillon Timperley and Kaven Rempel all had singles in the game.
