Travis Konecny celebrates with the hometown crowd after potting one of three goals in his first game with the Sarnia Sting on Friday at the SSEC. The 18-year-old winger came to Sarnia as part of a blockbuster trade with Ottawa 67’s, but his hat trick wasn’t enough as the Sting fell 5-4 in overtime to the Owen Sound Attack.
