Not one, but two “eight-enders” recorded at curling club

This quartet was all smiles after scoring a very rare eight-ender in the afternoon senior men’s league at the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club of Dec. 7. From left are Jim Parish, Jim Scales (skip), Gary MacLean and Brian Edgar.

From left are Jim Parish, Jim Scales (skip), Gary MacLean and Brian Edgar. An eight-ender is a perfect score within a single end of curling.

Not to be outdone, Jean Roszell’s team pulled off the feat in the morning day ladies league on Dec. 13, marking the second “snowman” recorded in less than a week at the club. From left are Cindy Walling, Joan Mumby, Linda Green-Smith and Roszell. Submitted Photos
