Youth stole the show when the Sarnia Tennis Club held its annual year-end tournament, with a pair of 14-year-olds taking the men’s and women’s singles titles.

Matt Mueller, who has become a driving force behind an indoor tennis facility in Sarnia, took the men’s title by downing Jordan Côté 6-0, 6-4.
And Ashley Gregoris, 14, defeated Susan Desjardine 6-1, 6-0 for the women’s crown.
Michael Coleman teamed up with Clive Barry to defeat Mike Engelhardt and Daren Brown 6-1, 6-3 in men’s doubles.
And in women’s doubles, Susan Desjardine and Dana Merrington held off Gregoris and Trish White 6-3, 6-4 to take the crown.
Gregoris, at 14, is the club’s youngest member while White, 72, is the oldest.
Finally, in mixed doubles, Mueller and partner Sarah Barry downed the team of Dana Merrington and Michael Coleman 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (8-6)
