Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on January 21, 2026, Gail Ellen Brooks (née Nettleton) passed away at Bluewater Health in Sarnia at the age of 81.
Gail will be lovingly remembered by her children, Leeanne (Greg), Steve (Joanne), and Tina (Terry). She was a cherished G-Ma to Lee, Kelsey (Dan), Kayla, and Jordyn, and a proud Great G-Ma to Tayson and Landon. She will also be fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Brenda, her sisters-in-law Gail (Dan) and Linda, as well as her many nieces and nephews.
Gail’s heart was also full of love for her beloved fur babies, Meiko and Savanah. She will be deeply missed by her family and by her friends at The Governor House.
Gail was predeceased by her beloved husband Don, her son Ted, her parents John and Margery Nettleton, and her brothers John (Gail) and Gerald (Donna).
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Crombeen and the compassionate nursing staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Bluewater Health for their exceptional care and kindness.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
