It is with great sadness that the family of Debbie O’Brien announces her passing on November 1, 2025. Born in Chatham on October 24, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy O’Brien.
Beloved fiancée of Reynold Koopman. Predeceased by her husband Larry Fraser (2017). Loving mother of Shauna Peters, and proud grandmother of Liam and Gavin Swanson. Dear sister of Denise O’Brien Walsh and Diane O’Brien.
Debbie had a passion for travel and loved taking road trips, especially when they led her near the water. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandsons and watching them grow.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Those wishing to honour Debbie’s memory are asked to consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
