It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Leonard Wayne Nicholls “Nick”, on August 6, 2025, at Bluewater Health – Sarnia.
Wayne has now been reunited with his soulmate and the love of his life, Clara (June 16, 2024). He was a devoted and loving father to Linda (late Steve), Terry (Jen), and Timmy, and a proud Pa to Steven, Tammy (Scott), Wayne (Amber), and Kandace (Paul). His legacy also lives on through his great-grandchildren: Gavin (Karli), Jeison (Paige), Olivia, Zack, Zayne, Tessa, and Emma.
He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends, who will always cherish the memories they shared with him.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at the Victoria Order of Nurses (VON), the Canadian Red Cross, and the March of Dimes for their compassion and dedication.
As per Wayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
We love you, Dad – you will forever be in our hearts.
