It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Theresa Margaret Boote, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 9, 2025. Predeceased by her one and only true love, Franciscus “Frank” Cornelis Boote (December 21, 2011).  Most extraordinary mother to Tracy Boote and Shelley Williams (David).  Worlds best grandmother to Katie and Mikayla Bird, Gabriel Farnoosh, Ethan, Lleyton and Carly Williams. Theresa was born in Clinton Ontario November 30, 1945, to the proud parents of Alfred and Olive Goldsworthy, she was one of ten children, three brothers and seven sisters.  She worked on the family farm, milking cows, feeding chickens, ploughing fields and driving tractors until she left at age 17 to begin Teachers College.  Having taught for two years she returned to the University of Waterloo to complete her teaching degree and that’s where she met her Prince Charming.  Theresa and Frank shared 44 blissful years together where they raised a family, loved on their grandchildren, and showed us what true love really looked like.  Theresa’s strong faith in God has been a light for so many people, her faith to see her Maker and be reunited with her family once again is what brought her such profound peace on her final chapter of life.  To say she will be missed is an understatement, but we rest assured we will see her again and will hold on to all our cherished memories until then. Special thanks to Dr. Libert who lovingly steered us through this difficult time, and to Dr. Kim and  the palliative care team for their diligence and compassionate care.  Special thanks to Nurse Belinda for her loving and supportive care for Mom.   Her attentiveness to detail brought comfort to the whole family.  Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1620 Modeland Rd, Sarnia, on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. A burial of ashes will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health Foundation – Palliative Care or Music Therapy Program (cheques only at the funeral home please).
