It is with deep sadness and profound love that we announce the passing of James “Jim/Bo” Nevil Burke, who left us on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, at the young age of 55. Jim lived a life that was rich with love and laughter. He loved the outdoors and had a passion for fishing. His spirit touched all who had the privilege of knowing him. Born on September 7, 1969, Jim grew up in Brights Grove and had many memories and adventures with his family and friends. Jim leaves behind his mother, Jean Burke, the love of his life Pam Hedden, his sons James and Ben, his daughters McKinley (Andrew), and Angela (Trey), his siblings Andrea (Jeff), Bill (Lori), and Colleen (Randy), all of British Columbia. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Amelia, Jackson, Ellie, Lucy and Hudson, as well as his aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his father Robin Burke. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
