It is with great sadness that the family of John Richmond announce his peaceful passing at Bluewater Health in Sarnia on January 3, 2025 in his 76th year.
Beloved father of Doug & Lynn Richmond of Sarnia, Matthew Richmond of Woodstock and the late Melanie Richmond (2016). Grandfather of Logan (Sally), Harley, Cameron, Douglas, Keira and great grandchildren Jade, Lyla, and Kaycee. Also survived by brothers Bruce (Andrea), Rob (Holly) and sister Marylou (Tom).
John worked over 30 years for Dow Chemical and was a long time member of the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club where his favourite hole was the 19th. When John wasn’t golfing or working he loved to watch sports, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs. John also had the travel bug where he enjoyed the warmer climates of the Caribbean, Florida and South America.
A Celebration of John's Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Four Points by Sheraton Point Edward Sarnia (1498 Venetian Blvd, Point Edward, ON, N7T 7W6) from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. All are welcome.
