It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Agnes Darlene Hollis on November 8, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Nelson Hollis (2004).
Loving mother of Rose Hollis, Phillip Hollis, Sheila Perdue
Cherished grandmother of 19 and Treasured great grandmother of 22.
Predeceased by her daughter Kathleen Lorentz (2012), son Gerald (Jerry) Hollis (2002), Brothers Wilfred Carpenter (1980), Clifford (Kip) Carpenter (2000), Walter Carpenter (2009).
Betty lived life to the fullest, loved her family, loved to travel, play cards, journal and just talk to people. She will be sorely missed by many.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Parkinson’s Society Canada. (cheques only at the funeral home please).
