Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital with her loving family by her side, Mona Jean Elliott (Ross) of Thedford passed away in her 96th year.
Beloved wife of the late Glen (1982). Loving mother of Debbie, Dale & Sheila, Linda & Ron and Wayne & Adrie. Cherished grandmother of Kerry (Noel), Alesha, Michelle (Steve), Tim, Cory (Alana), Jamie (Lindsey), Shayne. Great-grandmother of Kaylee, Tyler, Lucy, Brennan, Breanna, Brooklyn, Colton, Myelle, Vienna, Jayden, Adelynn, Kaiden, Colton and great-great-grandmother of Kaytian. Sadly missed sister of Audrey (late Jerry) and sister-in-law of Margaret Ruth (late Gary).
Mona was a regular at the Thedford Arena watching her favourite boys play hockey over the years. She worked at the famous Thedford Vegetable Fields every season and also worked in the retail stores of Thedford. Mona also enjoyed the cabin in Pleasant Harbour with her family where many memories were made, especially with Debbie on the 4-wheeler. Mona was also an animal lover.
Mona will be interned at Pinehill Cemetery beside her beloved Glen on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Jim Haupt officiating. Celebration of Life to follow at the Thedford Legion starting at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations can be made directly to a charity of your choice
