Orval went to be with his Lord and Saviour on August 28, 2024 at the age of 80. Beloved husband and best friend of Norma. Loving father to daughter Nancy and son Corey. Dear brother to Barbara (William) and Carl (Denise) and brother in-law Bill. Predeceased by his father Orval Sr., his mother Isabel, his sister Kathleen and his special grandmother Ellen Ewing, and his in-laws Edith and Bill Lawrence, brothers in-law Bryan and Ronald and many others. He will be dearly missed by his extended family and many dear friends new and old.
Orval was a member of Temple Baptist Church and served in various roles over the years. A strong work ethic was displayed in his long career with Polysar/Bayer/Lanxess. Family and Friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, September 2, 2024 for visitation between 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. directly followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Sympathy maybe expressed through donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Temple Baptist Church in Sarnia (cheques only at the funeral home please).
