Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Marilyn Dunk passed away at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Paul Dunk for 41 years. Survived by her mother Wilma Hardick, sister Lorna Haight, brother Ron (Sharon) Hardick, and brother-in-law Art Osborne. Predeceased by her father Lorne Hardick and sisters Dianne Jones and Patty Hardick, and brother-in-law Ted Haight. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Marilyn really enjoyed music and would often be singing along to her favourite songs. She was also very involved with Salvation Army Church spending her time volunteering to help her community.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Salvation Army Church, 970 Confederation St, Sarnia, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation held one hour prior from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Salvation Army (cheques only at the funeral home please). Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
