It is with great sadness that on June 6, 2024 at Bluewater Health, Robert James “Jim” Duval passed away peacefully and suddenly at the age of 81. We will forever remember him for the love and quiet strength he brought into our lives. He was the beloved husband to Nancy Adrienne Duval for 59 years, left to mourn his loss are, Christopher (Lisa) Duval, David Duval, Genevieve (Sean) Tate. Cherished grandfather to Taylor (Aaron) Ellenor, Mitchell (Shaila) Duval, Mackenzie Duval, Ethan Hammond, Isla, Madeline, Sawyer, and Amelia Tate. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, Ontario. The family thanks the ER staff, Dr Lily, and the palliative care nurses at Bluewater Health for the amazing care and support. Sympathy maybe expressed through donations to Sovereign Grace Community Church in Sarnia (cheques only at the funeral home please).
