The Syrie family sadly announces the passing of Terrance (Terry) Syrie, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, on March 30th, 2024, at Bluewater Hospital's palliative care unit, following complications from a fall. Just two days prior, on March 28th, he joyously celebrated his 74th birthday surrounded by family. In his final moments, he was embraced by the love of his family. Born on March 28th, 1950, he embodied integrity and empathy throughout his life, touching countless hearts with his warm smile and boundless generosity. He was a father to five children, Jason Syrie (Lulia Syrie), Michela Paul-Syrie (Brian Paul) Samantha Adkisson-Syrie (Charlie Adkisson) Alexa Keller-Syrie (Nathan Keller) and Teejay Victorino-Syrie, and grandfather to his eight grandchildren. Terry enjoyed spending time with his family, creating memories filled with laughter and happiness. Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Helen Syrie. In addition to his children and grandchildren, Terry is survived by his two brothers, Paul Syrie (Barbara) and Peter Syrie (Carla) with whom he shared a life time of moments from the everyday to special family celebrations. Terry served his community as a Firefighter and as a Registered Nurse for many years. His absence will be deeply felt by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing he was cherished and adored by his family.
