It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tyler Eugene Harness, who left us too soon at the age of 57 on Friday, March 1st, 2024. Tyler’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, most notably his children, Justin, Dylan, and Tianna, and their mother Cindy, with whom he shared a boundless love for their children. Tyler was the proud brother of Kyp Harness (Allison) and uncle to Ava and Clay.
Tyler will of course be missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Boyd and Margaret Harness.
Beyond family, Tyler leaves behind his lifelong friends, Darryl and Dwight Birckbeck, Ian Fleming, and Dave Ghobril. The friendships they formed will be forever remembered and cherished.
Tyler's presence extended beyond his friends and family; he was a cherished employee at Sarnia Cabinets, where his unmatched carpentry skills were locally renowned.
He had a zest for life and a passion for music.
We invite you to join us in celebrating his life. Please share your stories with is and raise a glass in his honor by dropping in from 5-7 pm on Thursday, March 14th at the Royal Canadian Naval Association, 1420 Lougar Ave, Sarnia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Inn of the Good Shepherd or the Sarnia & District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
