High school cross country results

Runners from Northern Collegiate continued their winning ways by claiming the overall team title at the LKSSAA cross country championships held Oct. 21.

Northern won four of the six divisions, taking the girls midget, junior and senior titles as well as the junior boys crown.

St. Patrick’s was fifth and St. Clair sixth in the eight-school competition held at Canatara Park.

Competitors from Sarnia schools with top five finishes included:

Midget Girls: Kaylee White (2^nd) and Madison Winegard (4^th) of Northern.

Midget Boys: Owen Norland (2^nd) St. Patrick’s, Dylan Riddell (3^rd) Northern, Alexandre Guidon (4^th) St. Pat’s.

Junior Girls: Lauren Perkins (2^nd) and Caroline Forbes (3^rd), both of Northern.

Junior Boys: Andrew Davies (1^st) and Nick Forbes (3^rd) both of Northern.

Senior Girls: Sarah Riser (2^nd) Northern.

Senior Boys: Noah Harding (4^th) Northern.
