Newly-signed defenseman Josh Jacobs of the Sarnia Sting has been invited to the weeklong U.S National Junior Hockey evaluation camp in Lake Placid, New York in the first week of August.
Jacobs, who left the Michigan State program to join the Sting, is among 13 blueliners seeking for a spot on Team USA.
The world junior tournament will be played in Finland from Dec. 26 to Jan. 5.
