Lambton County has delayed hiring two people to fill vacant positions at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery in downtown Sarnia.
Instead, county staff will prepare a report by July 8 examining staffing levels and costs and comparing them to similar-sized municipal art galleries.
Dawn-Euphemia Mayor Al Broad had earlier questioned the Alix gallery’s job posting for a graphic artist and marketing representative.
Broad said the gallery’s 12.34 positions are comparable to township’s staff complement.
