City buys restaurant property for bylaw department

Sarnia is buying a property that for decades was the home of a popular breakfast eatery. Most recently known as the Daysbreak Restaurant, 293 East St. has been vacant for some time after being damaged in a fire.

Most recently known as the Daysbreak Restaurant, 293 East St. has been vacant for some time after being damaged in a fire.

The property, which is adjacent the Public Works Yard on Devine Street, will be used as space for the city’s bylaw enforcement department.

It is being purchased at a cost of $121,500.
