With the fall harvest in full swing local grain is being transported to the Cargill Limited grain elevators on Exmouth Street, where it is loaded onto Great Lakes vessels for shipment to world markets.

Lambton County is the largest producer of wheat in Ontario and one of the largest producers of soybeans.
