Families can explore the link between automotive history and Canada’s oil industry during the Oil Museum of Canada’s Rev It Up! PA Day event on June 5.

Families can explore the connection between automobiles and the oil industry during a special PA Day event at the Oil Museum of Canada.
The National Historic Site will host Rev It Up! on Friday, June 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The hands-on program will highlight how the development of gasoline-powered vehicles helped increase demand for petroleum products throughout the 20th century, while giving participants a chance to learn through interactive activities.
Families will explore how combustion engines work through the museum’s online interactive program, then take part in creative activities including building and racing cardboard cars, designing paper race cars, and testing their knowledge of the automotive and petroleum industries.
The event is designed to bring history to life by connecting real stories from the past with family-friendly, hands-on learning.
Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors aged 65 and older and students, $3 for children, and free for children aged three and under.
The Oil Museum of Canada is located in Oil Springs and is a National Historic Site dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Canada’s oil industry.
