Perch Creek Habitat Management Area is temporarily closed Tuesday while crews complete scheduled trail maintenance.
The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority and County of Lambton said the property is expected to reopen Wednesday, July 29, weather permitting.
Officials did not identify any damage or safety concern connected with the closure, describing the work as regularly scheduled maintenance.
Located at 1892 Churchill Line, just east of Blackwell Side Road, Perch Creek offers more than five kilometres of trails through approximately 200 acres of natural land.
The property includes floodplain and upland forests, hedgerows, open meadow and wetland habitat.
Perch Creek is owned by the County of Lambton and managed by the conservation authority. There is no admission charge, and the property is normally available for hiking and dog walking.
Visitors are being asked to stay off the property Tuesday to allow the work to be completed safely.
The conservation authority thanked visitors for their cooperation during the brief closure.
