Sarnia golfer reclaims club championship crown

Steve Brown had the lowest two-round score on Aug. 25 and 26 to win his second Sarnia Golf and Curling Club Men’s Club Championship.

Steve Brown had the lowest two-round score on Aug. 25 and 26 to win his second Sarnia Golf and Curling Club Men’s Club Championship.

Brown, the 2015 champion, shot rounds of 70-67 and beat former champion Graham Hill in a one-hole playoff to take home the top overall spot.

The course hosted 127 men vying for seven handicap – average shots over par – flight championships, plus the overall and senior club title.

Gerard McAnulty won the senior club championship.
