Local residents can buy groceries at any of 10 local food stores on Saturday, July 18 and use it to help fill a city transit bus.
Stuff the Bus is an annual food drive on behalf of St. Vincent de Paul and the Salvation Army.
A fundraising barbecue will also be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Metro Northgate.
Following are the bus routes, with each stop lasting 45 to 60 minutes.
Route 1, Bus 1
9 a.m. – Bright’s Grove Foodland
10:30 a.m. – Walmart
11:30 a.m. – Mike’s No Frills
12:30 p.m. – Ken’s Valumart
1:30 p.m. – Metro Northgate
Route 2, Bus 2
9 a.m. – Corunna No Frills
10 a.m. – Corunna Foodland
11:30 a.m. – Food Basics
12:30 p.m. – RCSS Superstore
1:45 p.m. – Metro London Rd.
