The CEO of VIA Rail is coming to Sarnia to discuss rail operations and the Crown Corporation’s future in Sarnia.

The CEO of VIA Rail is coming to Sarnia to discuss rail operations and the Crown Corporation’s future in Sarnia.

Yves Desjardins-Siciliano will appear at the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club on June 17 at a luncheon organized by the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce.

More than 20,000 passengers annually travel to and from Sarnia on VIA Rail.

A local grassroots movements has been lobbying for an increase from the one daily Sarnia-Toronto round trip currently available.
