Want a say in potential changes coming to Sarnia’s waste collection system?

Residents can complete a survey and give feedback on weekly garbage bag limits, the frequency of recycling pickup, brush collection and other issues.

The Waste-Free Ontario Act is expected to require municipalities to make a number of mandatory changes to garbage collection, including the separation of food and other organics from the waste stream.

The survey is available online at http://finance.smartsarnia.com/ or in person at City Hall, and must be completed by Oct. 4.

A public input meeting is also being held that day from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
