Mr. Stanley  “Brian” (aka CHOPPER) Abrams a long time resident of Port Lambton, passed away peacefully on Friday, September, 20 2024 at the age of 79 years. 
He was a son of Benjamin and Mabel (Fallis) Abrams. 
He is now reunited with the love of his life the late Josephine Cecelia "Josie" Abrams (2023).
Loving father of Beth (Dave) Larabee and Heather (Brian) Bernardo. 
Dear grandfather of Michael, Shawn (Amanda), Chris (Ashley), Emily (Bryce) and great grandfather of Ava, Alyvia, Michael and Mason. 
Kind brother-in-law of Marg Abrams, Leonard (Clair) Gauthier, Charlotte (Darrell) Charron, Shelia (Dan) Salisbury, Shannon (Carrie) Gauthier and Becky (Tony) Wagner.  Predeceased by his brother Lee Abrams.
Brian will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was 25 year veteran of the Port Lambton Fire Department.  He worked for over 30 years with CF Industries, he co-owned the Abrams Grocery Store in Port Lambton  hence the nickname "Chopper".  He enjoyed woodworking and had played and now watching many sports most of all Golf and Football.  He was known to his family to have a sweet tooth.  He had a very strong Faith and a love for the Lord, and enjoyed helping with the worship at St. Clair Community Church
He will be resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 7-9pm.  A celebration service will take place on Wednesday, September 25 at 3pm with visitation from 1-3 before the service at the funeral home.
Cremation will then take place.
As an expression of sympathy donations to the Vasculitis Foundation of Canada the A.L.S. Society or Crohn's and Colitis Canada may be left at the funeral home.
