Peacefully with family by her side, at Bluewater Health, on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024, Sarnia, at the age of 86.

Loving mother of Jacqueline, Paul and Scott. Adoring grandmother of Michael and Sydney.

Margaret, or 'Greta' as she was known by those close to her, was loved by many and brought laughter and a sassy banter to all around her. Greta would spend her time with her closest friends – Philamena and Joyce before they passed. She was an avid 5 pin bowler, spending decades of Monday afternoons at Marcin Bowl and often spoke of her friend Bonnie. Greta loved going to the bingo. She spent many hours at Bingoland East and Harvey's bingo, making many friends there that would recognize her and stop to talk with her for the rest of her life – she absolutely loved that.

Over the past few years she thoroughly enjoyed going to the adult day program at Marshall Gowland Manor, and spoke very fondly of the girls that took care of her there. Her most cherished times in her final years were spent with her granddaughter, Sydney, playing Uno, board games or going for walks – making these memories left her smiling for days. Greta loved talking to and meeting people, and the number of times people walked away after just meeting her saying, "Oh my God, she's so funny" are innumerable. She will be greatly missed and the world is a lesser place without her. RIP Greta and God bless.

The family wish to thank her caretakers at Bluewater Health and Afton Park Place.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial of close family will take place at a later date.
