Peacefully on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Hugh Boyd passed away at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Mary Jane Boyd (2022). Loving father of Kathy, Michael (Sherri), Allan (Patty) and David. Stepfather to Scott (Kimberly) Spaulding, Kelly (Calvin) Fahs and Rob (Marie) Spaulding. Papa Hugh to their children and grandchildren. Cherished grandfather to Jason (Christine) and Shaun (Sally), Mark and Jade. Great-grandfather to Brooke, Kara. Lucas and Winston. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, William and Clara Boyd, and his siblings Jack, Bob, Kay and Bill.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Hugh’s wishes, no service will be held.
